The Mayor of North Tyneside is elected to lead North Tyneside Council. The Mayor chairs the council's cabinet, directs the council's strategy, and sets the council's budget. The Mayor's decisions can only be overturned by a two-thirds majority of councillors.

- If you already have a postal vote or successfully apply by 24 March 2025, your pack will be sent from 14 April 2025.
- If you apply after up to 5pm on 14 April 2025, your pack will be sent from 21 April 2025.
